2004 F150 - Baja Prerunner 2wd (Street Legal)

Cap-it has owned this 2004 F150 2wd truck from the very start and has been a company sales truck up until 2013 when the transmission died. We sat on the truck for 4 months wondering what to do with it until we got bitten by the Baja Racing culture. So in April of 2013, it when under the knife.

 

A new remanufactured transmission (at mileage 256,000kms) from Ford was purchased and installed so we could move it around the shop. We contacted the likes of King Suspension, Tuff Country Suspension, Rigid Industries, Mickey Thompson, Fiberwerx, Trailready and many more to help kick-start this project into high gear.

Fast forward to today, the interest is gone and our awesome F150 Prerunner has been sitting idle and needs a new home. 

​

NOTE:

Our ultimate plans were to drop in a new Ford Mustang Coyote crate motor to replace the current 5.7l Triton V8. It does run but due to it's lifetime mileage and performance tune to squeeze a little more  power out of it, it's seen better days. Same with the interior, we had plans to put suspension race seats in and a big stereo system but the project fizzled out ....
